El pasado 1 de marzo dio inicio el proyecto “Contribuyendo a la erradicación de la violencia contra las mujeres y niñas en el Occidente de El Salvador” cofinanciado por la Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación para el Desarrollo (AEXCID) y promovido por Fundación Mujeres y Las Mélidas.
El pasado 1 de febrero dio inicio el proyecto “Promoción del desarrollo socioeconómico de mujeres con perspectiva de género en el municipio de El Viejo, Chinandega. Fase II (Nicaragua)” cofinanciado por la Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación para el Desarrollo (AEXCID) y promovido y ejecutado por Fundación Mujeres y APADEIM.
Profesionales del ámbito socio-sanitario y personas cuidadoras participan en una jornada en la que exponen la actividad coordinada que realizan para el cuidado de pacientes así como el autocuidado de las cuidadoras.
La asistencia técnica consistirá en la elaboración del diagnóstico y la elaboración del Plan de Igualdad de todas las empresas municipales que aún no contaban con dicho Plan, así como la formación en género a las Comisiones de Igualdad.
A principios del 2016, se financiaron un total de seis granjas avícolas a mujeres de las comunidades rurales de El Viejo en Nicaragua. A tres meses del inicio de la segunda fase del proyecto en el cual se enmarca esta acción, las mujeres han adquirido mayores conocimientos acerca del manejo del plan sanitario de las aves, aplicación de medicinas veterinarias, vacunas, práctica del “destace” (despiece) y comercialización de los pollos de engorde.
La renovación supone la validación de la correcta implantación de acciones de mejora y de avance hacia la Excelencia.
En el mes de abril de 2016, 48 hombres han participado en talleres que promueven la importancia de identificarse como sujeto de derechos que merece respeto, y así mismo proporcionarlo a las mujeres.
